Certified or Non-Certified Technician

IAM Orthotics & Proshetics Inc. is a family-owned and operated, ABC-accredited orthotic and prosthetic facility located in Woburn, Massachusetts. We are looking for a certified technician or a non certified technician to join our team. We are willing to train.

Qualifications and Experience:

2-3 years working as a certified technician in orthotics, specifically in fabrication and design of lower orthoses.
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to lift 40lbs and standing for extended lengths of time

Duties:

Perform all areas of orthotic and technical work.
Work independently fabricating and repairing orthotic devices as well as thoroughly examine structure and cosmetic integrity.
Demonstrate efficiency in plaster working abilities through casting, sealing and preparation.
Maintain patient documention and follow all HIPAA guidelines.
Adhere to all safety rules and regulations
Maintain lab and safety equipment
Collaborate and work as a team
Participate in continuing education and training
